Interplay is a modern jazz quintet based in Essex. The music features some of the great hard bop tunes of the Blue Note era, good old- fashioned standards and a selection of tunes from the best of British including Tubby Hayes, Ian Hamer and Simon Spillet (pictured below guesting with the band @ The Olde Smack in Leigh-on-Sea)
The Band has played a variety of venues throughout Essex, Kent and London to include pubs, restaurants, weddings, private parties and the Langoula Jazz festival in France.
